Happy birthday!???!!

So.....if I'm not wrong today should be Yasir's birthday...I kind of remember something from last year in Voinjama, but maybe it was the 19 of November and not of October, what I remember is that there was a 19 involved. Maybe is that you were turning 19???

Anyway: First of all I hope today is your birthday so I can really wish happy birthday, second I hope you are turning 30 today, or I will really feel an old lady stuck in a burocratic HQ in a colder and colder Geneva....

So enjoy your maybe-birthday and celebrate!

The last one

Now that two of you have arrived to your new duty station, I am the last one waiting to settle. Octover is the last month for me to work in this ministry, and the idea of leaving this work soon, in fact, helped me emerge from my rather-prolonged depression. I think I have discoverd that my capacity to pay attention to details ,
or to be satisfied with attending to such details is insuffcient to work in Japanese bureaucracy. In other words, I would probably be happier (at least work-wise) in the field. Not a very good discovery if I want to have a stable, comfortable family life, but what to do....

Hope I am ill-fit only to Japanese buraucracy but not to international buraucracy... Chara, your report on the latter will be waited so much!!!
